Customer photo review of Boost Fin Slide-in (SUP) Adapter

Had issues getting the fin to fit. Put it to the side and forgot about it for a year. Found the stuff and email about making it fit, they jumped in and sent me the parts to make it fit and it works great ! Very positive experience !

I’ve been out on the water about 3 times now and I love my boost!! I’m so grateful for the adaptor and that it works with my paddle board!! Can’t imagine being without it at this point.

I like that it connects to my inflated SUP board but it is a tiny tiny bit off. Soo if I go more then 3 hours. The fun tends to back out a bit. I have lost the pin.

The slide in adapter is great!! It was a little tight at first and would not slide all the back when originally installed, but after first time use it became more adjusted to the board as was able to slide and lock into position as it should. Thank you Boost Surfing!

the retaining pin that keeps the fin inserted into the SUP mount is flimsy and bends permanently the first time i went to remove it after use. it fits, and it worked the first time. however, i will be ordering a half dozen of these to make sure i always have one handy. i'm not confident this will remain seated in place as the boost fin is in use, looks like it will come out easily. the original fin retaining pin that came with the kayak for its removable fins are far more durable but they are too large for use with the boost fin.

The adapter fit perfectly in the fin slot, however the retainer pin slot was offset from the boards slot by ⅛" so I had to fabricate a slimmer pin to fit. Hence the 3 stars.

I'm not sure if it's my paddleboard or what, but the SUP adapter barely fit into the channel on my board. I had to get a mallet and give it a bit of force to get it in there. It seemed _just about_ the right size, though.

2-21-26 Took the Boost for a SUP "test run" on the Colorado River in Yuma, AZ. Tested the power/longevity going up-river into the current while towing 2 paddle boarders. I highly encourage that your "towed" paddle-assist and not to totally rely on the fin. Leash up one paddler behind the other. Sorry I couldn't attach the video but this fin moves! Be aware of the "down times" - this is not a trolling motor :) Downside: better carry your special tool to "recharge." Would be nice to have an automatic "re-start" button included on the wristband or something waterproof to connect to restart/power up.

The SUP adapter fit perfectly snug without needed the extra shim that was included. After sliding it into place we took 2 people and a dog on an hour long ride on a calm lake with pure ease.

This slide- in fin adapter is used primarily with my Cobra Wave Witch surf kayak. It easily installs to my Standard and Long Range Boost fins when mounting to my surf kayak. The slide-in adapter is durable and well-built.

Recently picked up a couple of SUPs for our lake and decided to get an adaptor for my Boost fin (what the heck). Quick shipment and easy install, fit mine just fine so overall pretty happy to have this versatility for my fin!

just had to modify it a little to get the lock pin to line up with the Bote board. other than than its good

The clamp release is a disaster, 4 stars only. In order to release the holding mechanism you have to use the screwdriver, take out the motor, and then release the clamp from the board. It's a bad design, sorry.

The only issue is that the "key" is hard to get out. The string broke. It also seems insufficient to hold the thrust of the fin in the SUP. I'm going to make my own key.
