When you are out on the water & 3/4 of mile from shore, if your motor dies it would not only end your session, but now you have manually paddle in. Having the wrist magnet insures that you can keep surfing, and get back in without a problem.

I really couldn't get pictures or video because of the position of the beach but it was a celebration of life for my father and a friend also whose ashes I paddled out or boosted out while telling my brother and we release their ashes it was a great day and the magnet on the wristband was perfect that way I could actually turn it off and save energy or power to defend and be out there longer and hopefully I'll get a free one out of this LOL LOL LOL but this thing is awesome and I recommend it for people who have issues with injuries age limit or handicaps it's perfect for them and I do recommend it and when the time comes I plan on getting more from my other board so I have a pretty nice quiver of six boards. Just ordered the activation magnet to add to my Boost collection for am very pleased with the product which now allows me to surf to my nearest bar, park my SUP, and turn it off to save the batter so I can surf back home against the current without needing the screwdriver! Also customer service was very accommodating to me and provided me with extra screws after losing one in the ocean! Thank you Boost!

I love the activation magnet mounted onto my wrist controller. This makes it much more convenient than having to carry the activation magnet on the back of the screwdriver.
